The C4 Precision Optics 4.9mm f/3.5 is a specialty, Hyper-Fisheye lens with a ridiculous 270-degree field of view.  It’s a massive lens offering a equally mindboggling 270° field of view. The lens can see not only everything in front of it, but also behind itself. And, this feature makes it uniquely suited for VFX and VR applications. When pointed upwards it offers a 360° panoramic view. 

The lens features true equidistant (f-theta) projection and extraordinary sharpness extending throughout the entire field of view, making it highly desirable for mapping VFX plates without the need of stitching views from multiple camera arrays. 

There is only one sample of this lens in existence that is commercially available and we are fortunate (figuratively and literally) to have it.
