ACHTEL Afterburner is a docking station allowing ultra-fast file transfers between ACHTEL 9x7 Digital Cinema Camera and Enterprise-Grade U.2 SSD drives.
How Fast?
ACHTEL Afterburner allows sustained data transfers up to 8GB/s (8,000 MB/s) , depending on the writing speed of the target U.2 SSD. Up to two Afterburners can be connected to single 9x7 Recording Module simultaneously for increased transfer speed or/and multiple copies of the content.
Why U.2?
A U. 2 SSD is a high-performance data storage device designed to support the PCIe interface using a SFF connector. It offers high write speeds, enterprise-level reliability and high capacities (8TB and 16TB).
